TRADITIONAL GUESTHOUSE IN PELION
"Vogiatzopoulou Guesthouse" is located in one of the most scenic villages of the Peninsula of Pelion in Greece, called "Agios Georgios Nilias", with the most magnificent view, overlooking the Pagasetic Gulf, Evia island, the Sporades islands and surrounding mountains. It is a three-storey neoclassical building that is classified as a unique "piece of art" of the 19th century. This historical residence was built in 1900 by a prominent merchant, the grandfather of our family in that period, named ”Vogiatzopoulos”coming from Egypt and from 1982 was declared a listed building "of special beauty" by the Ministry of Culture.
It was passed from generation to generation and eventually with the passion and love of the entire family was converted into a Boutique 4*stars B&B, a warm and romantic place that offers everything the most demanding visitor would like, in order to live unforgettable moments of hospitality. Renovated with respect to our ancestral heritage, with much patience and attention to detail. Of course we kept the building's historical style with the imposing marble staircase, the impressive stained glass ("vitreaux") on the old doors and the painted ceilings that take you back in time, while we added the best modern amenities combined with authentic hospitality.
